Family Bodog from the Celebration-house in Caminul Felix Villages in Romania, will be touring UK churches, during the time of 21st of August to 11th of September. CAMINUL FELIX CHOIR - 2011 US TOUR

Caminul Felix Choir is back on thr road, touring this year the states of Oregon, California and Washington. Many Romanian and American churches are welcoming the choir generously, giving love offerings, signing up for sponsorship and partner with Caminul Felix Ministries in order to rescue more children. Marcel and Eli Filip, Ghita and Radiana Tiplea, Ovi and Loredana Csocka, will be the leaders of the team with 22 children in the choir.

Caminul Felix Villages are thankful to Assist International and the churches in the US, as all the children and the families are praying for the choir as they toil and sing.

Carpentry workshop

A warm friendship by Kurt and Birgitta Linnér in Växjö Sweden rendered into a donation that paid for a full carpentry workshop for boys and girls at Caminul Felix, Santandre. The entire building was renovated and 16 work positions in fine conditions were installed. Roland Nelsson, former Director for Erikshjälpen, Pastor Gorgen Hellman from Vetlanda Pentecostal Church, and Rune Solid assembled the units. Rune Solid has been an immense support through the planning process.

Young hearts

A Felix mini bus broke down in - 28 C (-18,5 F)

Dan and Dana, their three little children and teenager and pastor Lennart Larsson found themselves on a forest road up in the Scandinavian wilderness with a total engine failure.
The name of the nearby town is Abisko but the road is scarcely trafficked.

A good hearted driver came after about thirty minutes offering to give Dana and the little children a ride to the town and a hostel, and the rest of the group stood waiting for a tow truck. Pastor Lennart arranged transportation for the group. The evening concert was cancelled du to the delay.
The rest of the tour continues in a rent a car and the group will fly home in a week’s time.
A personal note: You wish you had strong new vans in situations like this. The Van there is for these concert tours is well taken care of, but it is old.

The Arctic Circle

Maybe the first time for Caminulfelix at the arctic circle? Lennart Larsson sent a photo proving that the Felix Family Dan and Dana Suciu and children came to the Arctic Circle. Minus 19 degrees. Snow everywhere - almost always. Fine churches have received in Klöverträsk, Happaranda and been generous in proving support.

Young families homes

These small, decent and affordable homes are intended to house the families that were started by young people that were brought up in Caminul Felix Families, as they move out and start living on their own. The houses are built with the help of future owners and volunteers on Caminul Felix (farm) piece of land.They are not to be given free to the future owners but they will work to build them and pay (over a period of time) the cost of the materials invested in it. Houses have a wooden frame structure and an area of 64sqm (689sqft) built area, on a 400 sqm(4310sqft) plot . We alo intend to build appartments for our young that are not married yet! Any help in materials, work , tools or money is much apperciated.

Among these carolers is the Caminul Felix choir, which in December, had the privilege to take part in “An Italian Night” at the Philharmonic of Oradea, together with the musicians at the opera in San Carlo, Napoli.

From September 19 in Dinuba First Baptist Church through October 17 at Centerpointe Presbyterian in Pleasanton, and lots of churches in between, the group from Felix, Romania, will be singing and sharing about what God has done in their lives. It is our story about a life in despair to a loving family.

The Felix Village in Thailand is one of the Felix villages reaching out to give a mom and dad and hope to orphaned little ones. This is powerful!

Dan and Vero Butuc-Mayer have been Felix parents of a large family in Felix village 1 in Romania.
Dan is also responsible for the large project to expand a village with new homes for teens that need a home of their own. Habitat for Humanity is partners in this worth while endeavor, teams from the UK and US are coming in and build. The young people from Felix work on the house construction themselves and will also pay according to a financial plan over many years. Dan coordinates the construction activity.

Five pastors from England visited Caminul Felix, Casa Minunata, Theranova and the East European Bible college in Oradea, Romania. Pastor Ron Hibbert, previous MIssions Director of AG GB, took the initiative inspired by our friendship and by the fine memory of our late common friend Rev John Wildrianne. I had the joy and honor to spend a day with them - what a joy for an old preacher and missionary!

Caminul Felix choir in the US, August 15 - September 12

A Felix Choir travels the USA, and will visit churches in GE, AL, FL, and NC. During the trip the Romanian Pentecostal Convention will welcome the choir to sing and share.
Twenty young people have processed their pass ports and visas and with the leaders and parents Marcel and Ellie Filip, Marius Padure and John Pittman - who drives the bus.
They will travel extensively. It is fun and it is truly hard work.

Caminul Felix Group's adventurous trip to England After a week of hard work in Southampton, traveling and speaking to different churches about the ministry in Caminul Felix, the 8 youngsters had the chance to dip through some history of the beautiful city. The day started at the City Council where they met the Mrs Mayor Carol Cunio and ended with a football game where they decided to support England.
